Kiln’s flagship programme Minding the Gap is a drama project which has been running for over 10 years for young people who have experience of migration, have recently arrived in the UK and/or who identify as refugees or asylum seekers. Kiln Theatre works with local schools and college’s EAL/ ESOL departments to provide creative drama-based sessions, which aim to develop students’ creativity, confidence in written and spoken English and engagement in arts and culture.
