University of Portsmouth BA (Hons) Illustration catalogue design.

Since 2018 I have been a visiting lecturer at the University of Portsmouth on the BA Illustration course. This year I got to work with 3rd year students on the identity and design for their degree show catalogue.

Through a process of workshops and conversations the idea that gathered the most traction was to use collaged images featuring all of the students work. This was done using torn strips with each strip featuring a detail of an artists work.

The strips featured on the inside and outside covers give you a taster of the variety of the work. With each student also featuring in a double page using flexible layouts in the body of this 88 page booklet.
