Mural arts, curation and production
Since 2012 we have been working with Wahaca, Mexican street food specialists to curate and produce their mural arts programme. Using our knowledge of street artists worldwide, gained by director Tristan Manco in the authoring of his many books for Thames & Hudson, we match up artists to each new project. This involves planning with architects, artist liaison, production and documentation. Wahaca likes to support talent from the street art genre, often but not limited to Mexican artists.

We suggest artists based on interior schemes provided by the architects Chris Bagot Architects (previous Softroom). As well as murals, sometimes the brief requires artists to work in three-dimensions. For example, for Covent Garden we choose to work with French artist Nelio who created beautiful murals made in relief using wood including recycled materials. While at the Waterloo site we choose to work with another French artist the excellent Sebastien Preschoux who produced a colourful thread installation to complement the linear/rope theme developed by the architects (pictured left).

So far, we have produced original artworks at the following sites: Covent Garden, White City, Oxford Circus, Brixton, Islington, Liverpool Street, Waterloo, St. Pauls, Shoreditch, Wimbledon and numerous time at the Southbank (see Wahaca TV youtube channel). Outside London the list continues with work for Cardiff, Bristol, Edinburgh, Chichester, Southampton, Liverpool, Manchester and Brighton.
